There's good news and there's bad news! The bad news is my online dating appears to be at a standstill. The good news is I'm still positive and content with where I am---for now!

I Love My Bed!

I have a new bedroom! Yipee!! I decided it was about time to do away with my (literally) 50 year old hand-me-downs and purchase my own stuff! So, I have a brand new mattress (for the record, sleeping has been so good the past couple of nights), headboard, footboard, dresser and mirror! It's that espresso color that is simple, yet elegant! I love it! My dresser has this apothecary feel to it! I think it's beautiful! But for now, I must get out of my pj's and do something productive for the rest of the day!

Oh Crap!

Today I was minding my own business emptying the dishwasher, doing some laundry, cleaning the apartment, flushing the toilet when it happened! That dreaded toilet overflow! Thankfully all the good stuff had already gone down, but still gross, nevertheless! I called maintenance and they came up fairly quickly. Unfortunately this is the second time this has happened. After the first time, I immediately stopped flushing the kitty litter, but last night, I accidentally flushed some down the toilet--just not thinking (I didn't reach over far enough to catch the trash can)! I informed him of my mistake and he told me that he's going to have to report it in case there is a problem with the drain! Please, please pray with me that there's nothing wrong with the drain because I'm sure I'll have to pay the plumbing bill! Is it never okay to flush kitty litter? I thought it was flushable! Oh well! Just, please pray! I'll keep you posted!
