Bring on the corncake pancakes!

I have three friends who have begun a new tradition with me. Every (well, most every) Sunday since February, Jaime, Sharon, Cristin and I have taken a trip out to Lake Grapevine where we run, walk, or run/walk about 5 miles. It's a nice fun time where we're all together listening to our Ipods (except for Sharon, she hasn't made it into the world of ipods yet--she just has her radio) with occasional bouts of conversation. We find ourselves discussing events of the past week, or complaining about the bikers who yell, "LEFT" but then choose to take up the entire trail, or discussing fun pop culture stuff like being thankful that Paris Hilton might finally be going to prison (even if it is only for a brief time). But, I can honestly say that the best part of our weekly excercise is our brunch that follows at IHOP! IHOP has recently introduced the corncake pancake! It tastes like sweet cornbread, but a little smoother to the palate. According to Mae, the BEST waitress ever, they're only around for a limited time, until the end of the month, in fact! So, I'm here to plead on behalf of myself, my friends and the corncake pancake! Please IHOP, make the corncake pancake a permanent item on your menu! For the love of syrup, PLEASE!!!! That's all I'm gonna say!

Amen, Sister! I think that's all there is to say about that subject.
